Global awards for people with disabilities
EGYPTE
In alignment with the United Arab Emirates' vision to support talented individuals with disabilities and achieve the sustainable development goals of reducing inequality, riadh Zammali has launched a community project across the Arab region, titled "Arab Excellence Awards for People with Disabilities." This initiative aims to empower and showcase the capabilities of individuals with disabilities. As part of this effort, a competition for inspiring and talented individuals was launched in Egypt2. The winners and honorees were celebrated in a special ceremony, conducted in partnership with the Skills Development Center in Egypt and attended by several dignitaries. At the event, individuals with disabilities presented exceptional performances that highlighted their talents. The ceremony concluded with the recognition of over 50 talented individuals, and three inspiring participants were nominated for the final Arab round.
TUNISIA
Riadh Zammali, a prominent figure in promoting inclusivity and empowerment for individuals with disabilities, hosted a notable event in July 2023 at the Rawabi Hotel in Nefza, Tunisia. The ceremony was organized to honor the winners of the best theatrical works showcased at the Family Health and Fun Festival. This festival featured a significant contribution from the Deaf Center of Nefza, representing Northwestern Tunisia, highlighting the event's focus on inclusivity and community engagement.
The event celebrated the exceptional talents of the deaf community, providing them with a platform to display their artistic capabilities. This was not just a celebration but a vital part of Zamali's ongoing efforts to enhance the visibility and participation of people with disabilities in international forums and competitions. Such initiatives are crucial for breaking down barriers and fostering an environment of equality and respect.
ALGERIA
In a significant event aimed at recognizing and celebrating the contributions of individuals with disabilities, Riad Zamali, in collaboration with the Association for Patient Care and People with Special Needs, sponsored a special ceremony in Algeria for the 2022/2023 season. This event, dedicated to selecting the most inspiring personalities among individuals with disabilities, brought together finalists and nominees who have made remarkable impacts in their communities.
The ceremony not only highlighted the extraordinary abilities and achievements of these individuals but also emphasized the importance of inclusive recognition across the Arab world. It served as a platform to showcase the resilience and inspiration provided by those who overcome challenges daily. The partnership with the Association for Patient Care and People with Special Needs underscored a shared commitment to supporting and empowering people with special needs, reinforcing the message that every individual has the right to recognition and opportunities to excel.
JORDAN
In a significant stride towards advocacy and empowerment for people with disabilities, a prestigious ceremony was held in Jordan in 2023. This event, part of the Arab Network Advocacy Project for People with Disabilities, was sponsored by Riadh Zammali and organized in partnership with the International Union of Arab Writers. The ceremony focused on recognizing the most inspiring individuals within the disability community.
Among the honored were Abdallah Al-Mahfouzi, a quadriplegic writer and software engineer, and Taha Ziyadah, a key figure in developing sports for individuals with mobility disabilities and a renowned community activist. Their contributions have not only challenged societal barriers but also paved the way for greater inclusivity and participation in sports and technology.
The event was attended by a host of dignitaries from Jordan, underscoring the high level of support and commitment from various sectors towards empowering people with disabilities. This ceremony served as a powerful reminder of the potential within each individual and the collective responsibility to foster an inclusive society.

As part of the Arab Network Advocacy Project for People with Disabilities, a special ceremony was organized in Libya for the 2022/2023 season, under the sponsorship of Mr. Riadh Zammali. The event was held in partnership with the Libyan Autism Association in Benghazi, led by Dr. Salwa Al-Assal, and Sun Gate Organization. The ceremony aimed to honor the most inspiring figures from Libya who have made significant contributions to the disability community.
The event was well-attended by a large number of advocates for people with disabilities and prominent figures from across Libya. It highlighted the collective efforts and commitment of various organizations and individuals to enhance the quality of life and integration of people with disabilities into society. This ceremony not only recognized the extraordinary achievements of these inspiring individuals but also emphasized the importance of ongoing support and advocacy in creating an inclusive environment for all..
